Danceology Dress Code

Danceology dress code is mandatory. The appropriate attire and dance shoe is required to participate in classes. Please NO STREET CLOTHES. Just as you would not show up to school in sweats, you should not arrive to dance class in street clothes. NO JEWELRY IS ALLOWED!

For every class with the exception of ballet, hair is required to be pulled back in a pony tail with no bangs or fly-aways visible. For ballet, hair is required to be slicked back in a bun with no bangs or fly-aways and secured with bobby bins and a hair net.

JAZZ & TECHNIQUE (Tot Jazz, Beginning, Intermediate and Levels 1-5)

Form Fitting Top, Hot Shorts, Capri Pants, BLOCH Super Jazz Shoe (Tan or Black)

LYRICAL & CONTEMPORARY (Beginning, Intermediate and Levels 1-5)

Mini’s (Ages 4 to 6 years)

Child “Extreme” Tap Shoe, by Capezio. Style #CG55C
No Split Sole Tap Shoes. Why? These shoes are not supportive for the foot. Yes, it is much easier to do steps on your toes in these, but it doesn’t have enough support for your ankle. You will only see professional tap dancers will a FULL sole tape shoe, and we want to start training your feet to be in this shoe as early as possible.
