Dress Code

Danceology’s dress code is mandatory.  For every class with the exception of ballet, hair is required to be pulled back in a pony tail with no bangs or fly-aways visible. For ballet, hair is required to be slicked back in a bun with no bangs or fly-aways and secured with bobby bins and a hair net.

Danceology Dress Code

TINY TOT CLASSES (2-5yr. olds)
Toddler (2yrs): Any color ballet leotard & skirt, tights, pink ballet shoes
3yr. & 4yr. Combos: Any color ballet leotard & skirt, tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes
4/5yr. Jazz: Any color ballet leotard & skirt, tights, nude jazz shoes

BEGINNING CLASSES (5-8yr. olds)
Beginning Ballet: Light pink leotard (skirts are acceptable), pink tights, pink ballet shoes
Beginning Jazz: Any color leotard, hot shorts, nude tights, nude jazz shoes
Beginning Lyrical: Any color leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes
Beginning Tap: Any color leotard, hot shorts, nude tights, black tap shoes (lace up tap shoes preferred)
Cheer Dance: Any color leotard, hot shorts or skirt, tights (preferred), nude jazz shoes, (poms provided)

JAZZ & TECHNIQUE CLASSES (LEVELS 1-6)
Form-fitting top: crop top, tank top, leotard & Hot shorts

No Split Sole Tap Shoes. Why? These shoes are not supportive for the foot. Yes, it is much easier to do steps on your toes in  these, but it doesn’t have enough support for your ankle. You will only see professional tap dancers will a FULL sole tape shoe, and we want to start training your feet to be in this shoe as early as possible.
