Middle School Information 2011

Danceology Performing Arts Campus is proud to be a part of Poway Unified School District’s after school enrichment program along with Kidztyme directed by Virginia Valente.

Danceology houses North County’s Middle School teams which include:

Bernardo Heights Middle School: Coached by Nicki Herz in Ranch Bernardo, CA.

Mesa Verde Middle School: Coached by Megan McBride in Rancho Penasquitos, CA.

The ultimate goal of the Middle School Dance Team after school program provided by Kidztyme Enrichment Program is to give young dancers the opportunity to experience team camaraderie, broaden their performance and overall dance experience, and to prepare them for high school dance team. Danceology provides each team with a coach that is a staff member of Danceology, highly qualified to work with children and knowledgeable in the field of dance.

All Dance Team Coaches must go through clearance of CPR certification, TB testing, health screening, and a live scan to ensure safety for the students and dancers.

Teams will be focusing on learning routines for competition and performances, teamwork, technique, and personal goals. Middle School dance team is not only a great way to prepare as a dancer for high school dance team, but also a great way to learn life lessons and make  friendships that will last a lifetime!
